F.A.Q.
Do you replace my partner?
Absolutely not! I am an addition to your team. Oftentimes partners feel lost and unsure of what to do during labor, I can work with your partner to help navigate that uncertainty.
Are you still helpful if I have a medicated or cesarean birth?Yes! I support all types of births. My support is not only physical, I can also support you and your family with advocating, answering any questions and offering emotional support.
Is a Doula the same as a Midwife? No, a midwife has been licensed in medical care and is able to deliver the baby. A doula is not certified in any medical care.
I have a Doctor or Midwife do I need a Doula?Doulas are a great addition to your birth team. While Doctors and Midwives work more with the medical care and in a hospital the staff is changing shifts often. Whereas my support as a doula is exclusively dedicated to you and your family. I will stay with you through the whole labor and delivery.
Do you offer payment plans?Yes! If you would like to do a payment plan please just let me know and we can work out a plan that works best for you. I also offer discounts and options for low income families. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Lacy.
Covid Updates: During our visits I will wear a mask and wash my hands frequently. I do offer virtual services as well. If you would like more information on virtual services please contact me.
